Willy successfully signed a contract for the zero-emission water treatment system project of Baotou Yonghe New Materials, contributing to the green development of the fluorine chemical industry.

Recently, Weili Environmental Technology Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Weili") and Baotou Yonghe New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yonghe New Materials") officially signed a equipment purchase contract with a total amount of 149.6 million yuan. Weili will be responsible for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of all five sections of the water treatment system for Yonghe New Materials - the reclaimed water station, desalination water station, reclaimed water station, concentrated brine zero discharge station and wastewater zero discharge station. It will fully support Yonghe New Materials' goal of water resource recycling and zero discharge. This further consolidates Weili's market position in the industrial water treatment field and provides a model for chemical enterprises to achieve energy conservation and emission reduction.

Project renderings

Yonghe New Materials is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Yonghe Refrigeration Co., Ltd. Its main product is the fourth-generation environmentally friendly refrigerant HFO-1234yf. This project actively responds to China's "dual carbon" policy and the requirements of the "Kigali Amendment", promoting the upgrading of the fluorine chemical industry through environmentally friendly technologies with zero ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low global warming potential (GWP). 



The project adopts the core "pre-treatment + ultrafiltration + reverse osmosis + MVR/MED evaporation crystallization" technology developed by Willey. Willey has optimized the German advanced technology through years of engineering practice, and has achieved efficient water reuse for water resources in all five sections of the project: the 800m3/h reclamation water station treats urban sewage to produce production water; the 160m3/h desalination water station prepares ultra-pure water; the 200m3/h reclaimed water station recycles and reuses recycled wastewater; the 110m3/h concentrated salt water station recovers salt resources through evaporation crystallization technology; the 40m3/h wastewater system realizes zero discharge of high-concentration, high-salt, and high-fluorine organic wastewater. At the same time, a waste salt resource utilization project is also provided to produce chlorine alkali for refrigerant production, ultimately achieving zero discharge of wastewater. This series of processes not only improves the utilization rate of water resources, but also avoids disorderly discharge of salt, achieving a dual resource circulation of water and salt. 



In addition, Villie will apply the self-developed "Smart Water Management System" in this project. It will deeply utilize technologies such as Internet of Things +, artificial intelligence, big data, cloud platform, edge computing, and BI to build a smart water management big data empowerment solution. The aim is to centrally manage the five sections of water treatment plants and pumping stations. Through the monitoring task tracking management mechanism, it will provide comprehensive analysis means for operational supervision effectiveness, establish a complete supervision system, achieve intelligent supervision of sewage treatment, build a sewage treatment mechanism, and solve the multi-project operation management problems of chemical enterprises. 



This signing represents another significant achievement for Willey in the field of advanced wastewater treatment for chemical industries, following projects such as Hubei Shuanghuan and Yunnan Xiangfeng.
